Notice of Extended Comment Period for Certain HABC Public Housing Documents

On December 11, 2017, the Housing Authority of Baltimore City (HABC) posted notice for a thirty-day period of proposed changes to the Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP) and of the Dwelling Lease, and also proposed a Smoke-Free Policy (the “Proposed Public Housing Documents”).

HABC is extending the deadline for submitting comments on the Proposed Public Housing Documents to February 9, 2018.

PUBLIC MEETING:

A public meeting to receive comments on the Proposed Public Housing Documents will be held on February 1st, 2018, 6:00 pm at 201 N. Aisquith Street Baltimore, MD 21202.

AVAILABILITY OF DOCUMENTS FOR REVIEW:

A draft of the ACOP, Summary of Changes to the ACOP, new HABC Dwelling Lease form, Summary of Changes made to the Dwelling Lease and a draft of the proposed Smoke-Free Policy are available for review and inspection on the HABC website at the links below:

SUBMISSION OF COMMENTS

Comments on the new HABC Dwelling Lease and the proposed Smoke-Free Policy may be submitted in writing no later than February 9, 2018 to Ms. Stewart at:
